Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the senior center policies and maintaining the best interest of the Senior Center and its members. They never receive any monetary compensation for their efforts. Their commitment to the Senior Center is due to their love and concern about our senior citizens in the community.
Meet our Directors
Deborah Wright Neff – President
I am long time resident of Quarryville. I currently reside in the Borough with my dogs. I am employed with MidAtlantic Farm Credit (Quarryville). I attend Wesley Church. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Working in my yard and flower garden are also favorites. I am a strong supporter when comes to community involvement and growth.
The good we secure for ourselves is precarious and uncertain until it is secured for all of us and incorporated into our common life.
Sherri Herr-Vice President
Sherri is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Next Gen Senior Center as their Vice President . She enjoys crafts ,Spending time with family and friends.
Tina Knox-Treasurer
Tina currently serves on the board of directors as the Treasurer. Tina is a resident of the Quarryvile area. Tina enjoys hanging oout with family and friends.
Brenda Feeney-Ott-Board of Directors
Brenda lives in the Quarryville area. She works at the Solanco High School, and brings students on a regular basis to the center for intergenerational activities. Brenda likes to go to the bay during the summer ,where she relaxes in the sun.
Wanda Ranck
Married for 50 years. I have 1 son and 2 grandsons. I volunteer at the Fulton in Lancaster. Enjoy working in my flowerbed and garden and baking. I also like to scrapbook with all the pictures from my travels from around the world and states.
Faye Kline
Fay lives in Quarryville with her daughter and son-n-law. Besides her daughter Fay has 1 son, granddaughter and 3 step grandchildren. She graduated from Warwick High School in 1965. Raised in Lititz where her family owed Burkholders Potato Chips. She is a member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church, LS YMCA and the Next Gen Senior Center. Fay enjoys water aerobics, all exercise programs at the senior center. She also enjoys fun – family – fellowship.
Georgie Shireman
Georgie resides in Quarryville with husband Charlie, and chocolate lab Molly. She is a graduate of Davis + Elkins College. Before retiring I worked in the accounting department for EG Stoltzfus for 25 years. Georgie and Charles has 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. She enjoys biking , hiking and traveling to different states and National Parks. I enjoy water exercise at YMCA, exercise programs at Next Gen senior Center. Getting to know other seniors has been a lot of fun weather we are eating, crafting or socializing. I have taken over the responsibility for the centers library and I am happy to help in any areas that need me.
Tina Reed
Tina is a retired Preschool and First Grade teacher. She has been a Girl Scout leader, a Boy Scout executive board member and a Sunday School teacher. She and her husband Bob have lived in Quarryville since 2005. They have 2 children and 3 granddaughters.
Samantha Reeves
Resides in Kirkwood. She is a Graduate of Solanco High School. Samantha works for General Health Resources, in which she is a PCA for Oxford Area School District. She helps at the senior center when needed. Like spending time with family and friends.
Warren Jones
Originally from Philadelphia, Pa. Resides in Kirkwood. Warrens works for Black Rock Exteriors in Kirkwood. Besides being a board member at the Next Gen Senior Center he is also a member at Lancaster County Sportsman Assoc. He enjoys DJ-ing and photograph.
Virgina Yuninger
AKA Ginny lives in Quarryville. She is retired from Solanco High School where she worked for 15 years. Ginny is a past board member who decided she wanted to be back on. She missed it. She enjoys family and friends
